The ironic yet disturbing Tim and Eric sensibility seems to be shining through even in music videos that they didn’t direct as of late. Ratatat’s newest vid is directed by More Soon, and is only as sinister as you want it to be! LP4 is out now on XL Recordings.
A surprisingly well-made video mash-up set to the tune of Broken Social Scene’s “Meet Me in the Basement”, featuring footage from the G20 Summit in Toronto last month. It was put together by an anonymous fan, and then given BSS’s blessing. Their new album Forgiveness Rock Record is out now on Arts & Crafts.
Not as much a fan of this video as their last one for “Heartbeat Song” but The Chaos is probably the best album The Futureheads have put out since their self-titled debut.

Live shows from legendary bands that are past their prime can be dicey propositions. However, if you know anything about Devo other than the song “Whip It”, you might have an idea why one of their concerts would be a must-see event. I’ve been wondering for a while now how exactly these DJ games are going to work and whether or not they will be even remotely as fun as Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I gotta admit, this trailer does a pretty good job of selling it.
