So I finally got around to uploading a bunch of photos from our Mediterranean cruise last month. Alicia and I were able to revisit a lot of our favourite places in Greece with her family including Santorini and Athens, and also a lot of new places like Kusadasi, Turkey and Split, Croatia. It’s definitely a convenient way to see a lot of cities in a short period of time, the only downside is that you have to be back on the boat by 5:00 at the latest so you don’t get a ton of time to explore. With the way we travel, though, we were usually exhausted by that time anyway.

Even in late September / early October it was ridiculously hot, but it was nice to have the cruise ship to come back to every day and relax. We were on the Star Princess and although I don’t have anything to compare it to, I’d definitely recommend it. Lots of pools, an indoor and outdoor theatre, a gym and spa, a few different restaurants and bars, ping pong tables, shuffleboard, and a mini-putt course (which we never tried).
