An Idiot Abroad Starring Karl Pilkington

Well, it looks like Ricky Gervais wasn’t joking about Karl Pilkington’s new travel show being called An Idiot Abroad after all. They’ve just put out a twenty-minute preview episode, which is essentially like an episode of The Ricky Gervais Show in video form, combined with clips from the upcoming series. I do feel a bit bad for Karl as they’ve clearly put him through some trying situations on purpose, but at the end of the day he still seems to be whining about even the good stuff. Either way, his trip around the world should provide plenty of amusement for the rest of us. The show premieres on September 23rd on Sky1 in the U.K.
