Well, the next Bioshock game has been unveiled, and apparently it will be a prequel called Bioshock: Infinite. This time the folks at Irrational have shaken up the franchise a bit by setting the game in a giant air city suspended by blimps and balloons in 1912. The art design seems to draw from early 19th century American propaganda, and it sounds like the overall gameplay will be pretty different from the previous two Bioshock games. Although I still haven’t even touched Bioshock 2, I’m glad to see them changing things up to avoid becoming stagnant. (Of course, the game won’t be out for another two years so I’ve still got plenty of time to catch up.) For more info, visit the game’s official site.
