Canadian clothing company Roots recently teamed up with Canadian writer and artist Douglas Coupland to create a new fashion line that just screams out “Oh Canada!”… the only problem is that it’s pretty damn hard to make Canadiana look cool. He went with a telecommunications theme, the idea being that technology connects us since we all live so far apart. I’m a fan of Coupland’s writing and design work, but some of this stuff is way too gaudy. Then again, the wireframe beaver shirt is pretty sweet.
