Hey, I totally stock up on lotions and facewash in the U.S.! Hehe. Yeah it's pretty ridiculous... prices at The Gap were literally less than half price for example.

I remember it used to seem like such a long trip when I was a kid. Hills is where the toys are!

Yep! I love that our dollar is at par now and we're living so close to the states. I've been milking it for the past few weeks, actually taking weekly trips over the river.

I've even gone so far as to walk into Wal-mart and Shoppers in Canada, write down prices and compare them to Target in the states. Shampoo, condition and facewash = HALF THE PRICE!! make-up, lotions, other beauty products = not such a big saving. I'm sure you don't care Sean, but maybe Alicia would. haha.

And you know how gas is like $1 here? I equated it out to 80 cents, so it's worth filling up when over.

Plus, there's so many awesome stores there that we don't have. Over half of my wardrobe is clothes from the states now.

I could go on and on about how awesome shopping in the states is, but I'll stop now and just agree that it also has a nice nostalgic quality too. I remember going to Hills as a kid and layering newly bought underwear in their disgusting bathroom (SMUGGLING!) and then going for pizza and buffalo wings at Clancy's afterwards.

It's such a wonderful childhood memory that I hope the dollar stays this way for when I have children and can create those awesome American memories with them too. hahaha!
